A Lifetime of Working with Technology
My career in IT began in 1985, working across helpdesk support, computer networks, software development and eventually IT management.
Over the years, I’ve worked with organisations ranging from small businesses with around 50 computer users to major international operations supporting up to 3,000 users.
My experience spans a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, music, warehousing and aviation, supporting businesses across the UK, Ireland, Western Europe, the USA and the Middle East.
This has given me a broad understanding of technology, but more importantly, how it can help people and businesses work more effectively.

Supporting Small Businesses and Rural Communities
After taking a short break from the IT industry, I became involved in developing a farming diversification business that helps landowners advertise outdoor spaces for events and other activities.
I remain actively involved in its day-to-day operations, supporting the website, technology and wider business development.
This experience has strengthened my interest in helping farmers, landowners and rural businesses find new opportunities, diversify their income and make better use of technology.
